Bring Your Own Device
Kura Toa is a Bring Your Own Device (BOYD) Kura. All rangatahi are required to have a digital device that supports learning from day one. But accessibility to a device should not be a barrier to education.
Te Mana o Kupe Trust provides affordable devices for as little as $5 per week to rangatahi living in the Porirua area. Completed application forms can be sent to Tari@kuratoa.school.nz
Once the Trust receives your $45 deposit and starts receiving payments they will arrange drop off of the Chromebook to Kura Toa.
