Mauriora
Our Approach to Wellbeing
Our Mauriora Framework recognises the connection between identity, health, education, the environment, and future opportunities.
It reflects the aspiration for whānau to thrive - knowing who they are, where they come from, moving forward with confidence and purpose.
At Kura Toa, Mauriora underpins how we design learning. We value identity, belonging, and wellbeing alongside academic achievement, ensuring rangatahi can succeed in ways that are meaningful to them.
Every learner is supported through a living Mauriora plan, with access to the right support at the right time. This ensures they are not only progressing in learning, but growing into confident, capable individuals.
